Climate of the park is gently continental. Its characteristic feature is transportation of the air from west to east, and as a result air masses, which have been formed over the North Atlantic, are coming here the whole year round. Considerable influence of the Arctic – intrusion of its air masses causes biting falls of temperature not only in the winter but also in the summer. At the same time replacement of the air masses occurs as a result of intense cyclonic activity, which predominates in all seasons.
