i4709-image-original.jpgThe park's avifauna is quite remarkable. In the basin of the river Ileksa there is the Europe's largest nesting group of the fish-eating predatory birds placed in International Register of Rare and Endangered species - white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla), osprey (Pandion haliaetus), golden eagle (Aquila chrisaetus).
i4708-image-original.jpgAll in all, there are 176 species of birds, 41 of which are birds of passage. The whopper swan (Cygnus cygnus), buzzard (Buteo buteo), grey crane (Grus grus) nest on lakes and mires. The number of black grouse, wood grouse and willow grouse is exceptionally high.
